These experiences have helped to create an all-round fly-fisherman capable of using a range of tackle, and, above all, with
a set of skills in terms of “water craft” that is extremely rare in Italy. Today, he mainly works as an expert Steelhead fishing guide in British Columbia, where he
has spent more than 19 years haunting the famous tributaries of the Skeena river system: the Kispiox, Babine, Morice, Bulkley,
Copper, Sustut and Nass. The renowned specialist US magazine “Wild Steelhead & Salmon” has acknowledged Alberto Giovanelli’s
exceptional casting abilities and catches when fishing for the species generally considered to be the most difficult and demanding,
devoting a multiple page article in which Alberto was dubbed the Italian “Mister Steelhead”. |

Alberto, anni 54, Modena.
