Daniele Zocchi : Guideline

Daniele started fishing when he was a schoolboy under the tutelage of his paternal grandfather. He started fly-fishing about 27 years ago. Inspired by the tales and experience of the celebrated Italian expert Mario Riccardi, he learned the shooting lead casting technique and how to make artificial flies specifically for catching rainbow trout.

He then embarked on a period of practical experience to hone his skill set with a series of fishing expeditions to Slovenia, Austria, and Norway. For the past 14 years he has made a yearly trip to British Columbia, notably the rivers of Vancouver Island. An expert caster with any tackle, and endowed with finely developed water craft, Daniele uses a two-handed rod and the underhand casting technique in his efforts to maximise his casting skill, with constant updates and technical developments of the tackle he uses and his casting techniques thanks to the exceptionally high quality of GUIDELINE tackle.

Inizia un periodo di grande apprendimento formativo con esperienze oltre confine in fiumi della Slovenia, Austria e Norvegia. Da 14 anni la British Columbia è diventata meta annuale, in particolare lo sono i fiumi dell’isola di Vancouver. Esperto lanciatore con qualsiasi attrezzatura e dotato di un grande senso dell’acqua, ha trovato nella canna a due mani e in particolar modo nell’underhand cast la sua giusta dimensione di lanciatore con continui aggiornamenti e sviluppi tecnici su attrezzature e tecniche di lancio consentiti dalle eccezionali qualità degli attrezzi GUIDELINE.
