We are pleased to invite you to the great salmon fishing and environments Mærk / Lien beat in Orkla. The courses runs over
three days and takes 8 people in total. The course is operated by Norway's most famous salmon fishing instructors and profiles
from the Guideline.
The content of the course will provide you with increased knowledge of casting techniques, adaptation of equipment and fishing
strategies. Own fishing will of course also be included in your stay.

School Content
- Fly Casting: Both single-handed and double handed.
- Casting Techniques: Overhead Cast, Snake roll, single and double spey cast, single-and double snake roll, combination techniques
and fly-casting with sinkinglines.
- Fishing Strategy: The salmon behavior pattern under all conditions, reading the river, Choise of fly and lines.
- Equipment Customization: You can get an "EU-Control" of your equipment during the course. This allows the rod and line, compared
to our individual casting style to fit together perfectly. We talk a lot about fly fishing equipment during the course, and
rod actions, head weights, shootingheads and leader.
- Testing of this year's Guideline news. Test our new, American-built rods and Triple-D shoot heads.

Possibilities of great troutfishing!
Bjørnar Skjevdal offers for free a day with guided troutfishing. The area has very good fishing for trout and the possiblity
of catching a big one is absolutely present.
Bjørnar lives in Meldal and is a very skilled fly flisherman. He knows the area very well and can guide You to some great
spots. Bjørnar can also help you with casting, fishing tactics, flies and gear.

About the beat
Beat is about. 3.2 km long and varied stretch of river with exclusive fishing from both riverbanks - as with the exception
of approx. 500 meters at the top and a few meters at the bottom of the beat. Beat in the upper part of the Orkla approx. 20
km north of E-6 and Berkåk along Route 700, and about 100 km south of Trondheim.

Rates and bookings
Course 1: From Friday, 18.06 at. 15:00 to Monday, 21.06 at. 12.00.
Course 2: From Monday, 21.06 at. 15:00 to Thursday, 24.06 at. 12.00.
Course 3: From the Sunday, 01.08 at. 15:00 to Wednesday, 04.08 at. 12.00.
Course 4: From Wednesday, 04.08 at. 15:00 to Saturday, 07.08 at. 12.00.
3 day stay, including accommodation, courses and fishing costs NOK 6000, -. We live in a cabin consisting of, living room,
bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. You can make your own food on site or order any food from the farm. The farm, located a stone's
throw from the river in the upper part of the beat.
