Jack Cook
Jack Cook is a fanatic Steelhead and Salmon fisher from Carnation, Washington USA. He started with 10’ single handers and
was at the forefront of fishing with two handed rods in the Pacific Northwest.
| At the same time he became obsessed with the taking of Salmon and Steelhead on a waking fly. For Jack the hitch fly is not
an option, it is the preferred and most effective method for Steelhead and Salmon. With a cigar in hand and a beautifully
tied fly on the rod you will see Jack hour after hour on his favorite pools. In the meantime Jack is also leading the way
bringing Scandinavian fishing gear and techniques to North America.

| Having set aside his beloved long belly lines Jack is now a shooting head fanatic. Countless hours are spent in person,
on the phone and at claves helping anglers understand how the GUIDELINE Scandinavian system fits into the game plan. In the
meantime Jack also spends hours working on perfecting his casting and learning how to teach others more effectively. And
besides that, there are the flies. Fly tying went from a hobby to a full time job and then to an art form. Hail me at the
river or check it out at www.speyman.com |
