| River Kymi is Finland’s southern river. It takes only one and half hour drive from the airport in Helsinki to the river. The
big salmon strain ensure that there is lots of salmon to fish. The first salmon star run in June and the best salmon season
is from July to end of September. Salmon´s average size is around 6.5 kg and the biggest are over 20kg. The river has also
two Sea trout runs. The first starts when the river open in 1st of March and it lasts to end of May. Second season is mid
of November and it last until the river freezes. Sea trout average size is around 4kg. |
