NASF
The NASF Campaign to restore salmon stocks is winning! Nothing beats common sense, the right priorities and ABUNDANCE as the target. Ending mixed-stock netting has always been our priority. We are currently lobbying the Norwegian Government to abandon this destructive form of commercial salmon fishing.
| As always, the civil servants are reluctant to change their ways. We believe we can convince them that it is time Norway joined
the other nations in protecting international salmon stocks. Meanwhile, NASF’s work is helping more salmon to return to their
native rivers. Cyclical factors and marine survival rates continue to fluctuate -- as always – so NASF’s answer is to focus
on practical efforts that get RESULTS. We need more people to join us. More people who believe as we do and are ready to
put some of their quality time and treasure towards helping us achieve our goals. Please feel free to contact us and learn more about our programmes for the next two
years.
